Deep Robotics presents its first humanoid robot and showcases new quadruped robot

Deep Robotics, a leading embodied AI and robotics company, unveiled its inaugural humanoid robot model the Dr.01 at the World Robot Conference that opened in Beijing, marking the startup’s efforts to diversify from quadrupedal robotics into the thriving humanoid robotics space.

During the five-day event, which runs through August 25, Hangzhou-based Deep Robotics also demonstrates a series of capabilities of its Embodied AI-powered quadrupedal robot.

Through AI and big data training, future humanoid robots are expected to assist humans in performing repetitive, high-precision tasks, safeguard personnel safety in hazardous environments, enhance human productivity in industrial settings, and improve the quality of life at home.

Flexiv unveils ‘Moonlight’ adaptive delta robot

Flexiv, a provider of general-purpose robotic solutions, collaborated with O-DEAR, a Taiwanese automation supplier and integrator, during the recent Taipei International Robotics and Automation Show (TAiROS).

The event, held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall, marked the debut of Flexiv’s groundbreaking “Moonlight” three-axis parallel adaptive robot for the first time within Taiwan.

O-DEAR, working closely with Flexiv, showcased a range of innovative applications, including Flexiv’s ball balancing demo, FPC connection application, and Flexiv’s massage application that precisely replicates the techniques of a trained masseur. Silicon Valley’s Figure AI has taken the wraps off of its next-generation Figure 02 conversational humanoid robot that taps into Nvidia Omniverse and Nvidia GPUs for fully autonomous tasks.

Nvidia accelerates humanoid robotics development on ‘global scale’

To accelerate humanoid development on “a global scale”, Nvidia is providing the world’s leading robot manufacturers, AI model developers and software makers with a suite of services, models and computing platforms to develop, train and build the next generation of humanoid robotics.

Among the offerings are new Nvidia NIM microservices and frameworks for robot simulation and learning, the Nvidia OSMO orchestration service for running multi-stage robotics workloads, and an AI- and simulation-enabled teleoperation workflow that allows developers to train robots using small amounts of human demonstration data.

Vayu Robotics launches ‘world’s first’ on-road delivery robot powered by AI robotics foundation models

Consumers rely on e-commerce platforms to deliver groceries, electronics, apparel and more everyday. And while the number of deliveries is skyrocketing – by 2027, 23 percent of American retail purchases are expected to take place online – cost per delivery remains stubbornly high.

ForwardX and L’Oréal unveil mobile robot with built-in weighing system
