To achieve this, the Trimbot uses five stereo cameras to map out the landscape. These cameras allow the bot to detect a number of things, from the shape of a bush to the best spot to snip off a plant’s stem.

To do this, the bot uses a set of sophisticated cutting tools. The machine’s robotic arm then makes sure that everything is trimmed perfectly.

Challenges with robotics in agriculture

In the agricultural industry, robotics and automation are becoming an important solution for many challenges. The technology can make farming more efficient and profitable while saving money and time.
