Neousys launches ARM-based IoT gateway

Neousys Technology has launched an industrial grade ARM-based gateway, which it calls IGT-20.

The company says unlike System on Module (SoM) that’s commonly provided as a barebone component, IGT-20 is based on AM3352 from Texas Instrument’s Sitara AM335x family and will be shipped as a ready system pre-installed with Debian.

HMS Industrial Networks acquires Intesis Software

HMS Industrial Networks has acquired all shares of the Spain-based company Intesis Software – a provider of gateway solutions for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system integration within building automation. 

Intesis was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Igualada, Spain, close to Barcelona. Intesis offers advanced communication gateway solutions and interfaces within the building automation field. 

The major part of Intesis’ sales comes from the successful “IntesisBox” building automation communication solution. Intesis works closely with many major manufacturers of air conditioning and building automation systems globally. UK’s first driverless car trials invites public to register

Britain’s first autonomous car trials are set to take place later this year in Greenwich, and members of the public are being invited to participate

Members of the public can now register to take part in the UK’s first public driverless vehicle trials, due to take place later this year.

The trials, which will take place in Greenwich, London, are part of the GATEway (Greenwich Automated Transport Environment) project – an £8 million research project to investigate the use, perception and acceptance of autonomous vehicles in the UK.  Continue reading UK’s first driverless car trials invites public to register
