Doosan Robotics has launched a new AI-powered palletizing solution designed to help manufacturers automate palletizing while reducing engineering complexity and improving flexibility for changing production requirements.
The company unveiled PalletizHD+ at Automate 2026, describing it as a complete, production-ready palletizing system built on its proprietary PalletizOS operating platform.
The system is designed to address one of the biggest challenges facing manufacturers today: adapting palletizing operations to changing products, packaging formats and production demands without extensive reprogramming.
According to Doosan Robotics, PalletizHD+ can process up to 11 boxes per minute and handle up to four boxes simultaneously. The solution uses artificial intelligence to automatically generate palletizing patterns based on box and pallet specifications, while its AI-enabled SwiftMove technology optimizes robot travel paths to improve speed and stability.
The company says the system eliminates much of the engineering work traditionally associated with palletizing deployments by providing a unified operating environment with zero programming required.
PalletizHD+ is built around PalletizOS, Doosan Robotics’ native palletizing operating system, which includes AI-assisted pattern generation, a drag-and-drop interface and a 360-degree 3D preview that allows operators to visualise pallet layouts, conveyor configurations and safety zones before production begins.
The software also includes a library of validated pallet configurations and saved system setups that can be reused across applications.
Designed for collaborative operation, the system supports payloads of up to 30 kg, reaches up to 2,030 mm, and can build pallet stacks exceeding 2,440 mm in height. It also incorporates fork pockets for easier relocation within production facilities.
Doosan Robotics says operators can configure new pallet patterns in under two minutes using a single-screen interface without requiring specialist robotics programming knowledge.
The launch also reflects the company’s broader strategy of developing AI-powered industrial automation solutions on a common software platform.
PalletizHD+ combines Doosan Robotics’ robotics and software technologies with more than 25 years of automation expertise from ONExia, the North American automation specialist acquired by the company last year.
Looking beyond palletizing, Doosan Robotics says it plans to build a portfolio of AI-enabled robotics solutions for applications including welding and surface finishing, combining robotics, advanced 3D vision and physics-informed AI on a shared operating platform.
