Oversonic Robotics introduced its humanoid robot RoBee to the US market earlier this month, marking a step in the Italian company’s plans to expand internationally and deepen its presence in healthcare and advanced manufacturing.
The company said RoBee, its latest-generation cognitive humanoid robot, was designed for use in healthcare, care services, and industrial environments.
Oversonic positioned the system as part of its broader effort to develop humanoid robots capable of operating in regulated and safety-critical settings.
Focus on healthcare and aerospace
Alongside the US launch, Oversonic announced a new strategic partnership intended to support its expansion in North America, with an initial focus on the medical and aerospace sectors.
According to the company, the collaboration was aimed at accelerating deployment of humanoid robotics in healthcare delivery processes and in technologies linked to space and aerospace applications.
Oversonic did not disclose details of the partner or the commercial terms of the agreement.
CES demonstrations
The US launch followed Oversonic’s participation at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where the company showcased live demonstrations of RoBee and its applications.
The demonstrations focused on the robot’s cognitive capabilities and its suitability for environments requiring close interaction with people.
