Flexiv Robotics marked its inaugural Japanese exhibition with five flagship demos and a commitment to long-term growth in a vital global market
Flexiv Robotics, a developer of general-purpose robotics, made its first appearance at the International Robot Exhibition (iREX) in Tokyo earlier this month, marking a major step in the company’s global expansion.
From December 3 to December 6, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight, Flexiv’s team occupied booth E5-16, where they demonstrated the adaptive capabilities of the company’s Rizon series robots and highlighted how they can automate tasks that traditional robots struggle with.
Flexiv’s debut at the world’s largest robotics showcase featured five interactive, live demonstrations designed to showcase versatility, sensitivity, and applied intelligence. Visitors were able to see automated car bodywork polishing, precision ball balancing, high-accuracy server component insertion, and an early look at Flexiv’s new Isaac Sim plug-in for accelerated development and virtual testing.
Attendees also experienced Flexiv’s massage demonstration station, powered by the Rizon 4s. The robot adapted to each visitor’s body type, offering a practical example of the precision and responsiveness behind adaptive robotic technology.
Together, these demonstrations highlighted how human-inspired adaptive robots can raise efficiency, improve safety, and deliver consistent quality across industries.
Japan represented the next logical step in Flexiv’s international expansion, following the company’s progress in China and Singapore. Ahead of the exhibition, Flexiv had already received inquiries from potential partners and businesses seeking adaptive automation solutions.
With Japan’s long history of robotics adoption and dense ecosystem of integrators, manufacturers, and technology specialists, Flexiv viewed the market as fertile ground for customer-driven collaboration and product refinement.
“iREX is the ideal platform to introduce Flexiv’s technology to Japan,” said Yunfan Gao, VP of marketing for Flexiv Robotics. “We grow quickly by listening to customers and moving fast to turn feedback into product improvements.
Developing the Japanese market is a priority for us because Japanese industries demand the flexibility, finesse, and human-inspired intelligence our adaptive robots deliver. We’re excited to demonstrate our capabilities, learn from local partners, and to form long-term relationships that will support the next phase of our global growth.”
The 2025 International Robot Exhibition was held under the theme “Sustainable Societies Through Robotics”, bringing together state-of-the-art robots and enabling technologies including AI, ICT, and advanced components.
Founded in 2016, Flexiv continues to expand its global footprint, with offices in Silicon Valley, Shanghai, Beijing, Munich, and Singapore.
