AGV maker Kivnon agrees logistics partnership with CLS
Automated guided vehicle manufacturer Kivnon has reached a partnership agreement with logistics solutions provider CLS.
The companies announced the new collaboration while having a joint conference at the Intralogistica Italia event.
The Intralogistica Italia event takes places in Milan, and is said to be Italy’s most relevant trade fair dedicated to the most innovative solutions and integrated systems for materials handling, warehouse management, materials storage and picking.
Kivnon is sharing a stand with CLS, which is an Italian company specialising in logistics equipment.
The companies will be exhibiting the bidirectional AGV K11 Two-Way, which has a drag or pulling capacity up to 3,000 kg.
Both firms say the trade show was the ideal place to have a joint announcement about the partnership agreement.
Michele Calabrese, marketing and product manager at CLS, says: “Our interest in Kivnon is linked to the demand of innovative solutions to enrich our portfolio.
“We consider that Kivnon’s products masterfully apply a modern technology which involves an innovation that we understand will be very appreciated by our local market.”
CLS has now 11 branches, nine operations centres, and a fleet of more than 180 technicians in the field.
The company says this makes it one of the leading solutions providers in the logistics sector in Italy.
Kivnon says this new cooperation is yet another sign of its international growth and projection in the last years.
After exhibiting this year their AGVs in prominent trade fairs such as LogiMAT Stuttgart, and Intralogistics Paris, Kivnon is now showcasing its solutions at Fiera Milano, hall 10, stand K27-H26 of Intralogistica Italia.
