Siemens has launched the latest release of its Simcenter engineering simulation software, introducing new AI-powered capabilities, GPU acceleration and multiphysics workflows designed to help engineers speed up product development and explore more design options.
The release is also the first to combine Siemens’ and Altair’s simulation technologies into a unified Simcenter portfolio, providing more connected workflows across multiple engineering disciplines.
According to Siemens, the latest updates enable engineering teams to accelerate simulation workflows, gain earlier insight into product performance and make more informed design decisions earlier in the development process.

A key feature of the release is the expanded use of Simcenter PhysicsAI, Siemens’ geometric deep learning technology that converts simulation data into predictive AI models. The company says the technology can help engineers evaluate design concepts up to 1,000 times faster than traditional solver-based simulations.
Simcenter PhysicsAI has also been integrated into additional products across the portfolio, including Simcenter Inspire and Simcenter Hypermesh, while multi-GPU support in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ enables AI models trained from computational fluid dynamics simulations to be generated significantly faster.
Siemens has also introduced Simcenter PhysicsAI Generate, a new generative AI capability that creates design concepts based on target dimensions, performance requirements and historical engineering data.
The latest release also moves simulation earlier in the design process through the integration of Simcenter Simsolid with Siemens’ Designcenter software. The integration allows engineers to run structural simulations directly on CAD geometry without creating a mesh, reducing analysis times from hours to minutes.
Siemens has also expanded multiphysics capabilities by strengthening links between electromagnetic, thermal and system simulation tools. The enhancements are intended to improve the simulation of applications such as electric powertrains, motor cooling and battery thermal management while supporting collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
The company says the new capabilities form part of its Siemens Xcelerator portfolio and are designed to help manufacturers reduce development risk, improve engineering productivity and bring higher-performing products to market more quickly.
