Switzerland’s IAR Group establishes new subsidiary in Germany

The IAR Group from Switzerland, which specializes in industrial automation systems, is expanding and founding a subsidiary in the greater Stuttgart area.

The main objective is to sell its self-developed automation modules for loading and unloading processes as well as automated special machines and robot cells on the German market. To this end, a sales and service team is to be established.

Sébastien Perroud, chairman and CEO of the Zofingen-based IAR Group, says: “I am very pleased about the newly founded subsidiary in the greater Stuttgart area – a milestone in the history of the IAR Group. IAR Deutschland will serve as an important base for us to sell our products and services in the German market.”

The IAR Group’s primary objective is to sell its self-developed automation modules for loading and unloading processes, as well as its extensive expertise in building automated special-purpose machines and robotic cells in Germany.

However, IAR Deutschland provides customers in Germany with access to all products and services as well as to the entire know-how of the internationally oriented IAR Group.

In addition, IAR Deutschland cooperates with the high-tech partner Tigres for fully automated surface treatment of materials.

IAR Deutschland is based in Aalen in the greater Stuttgart area. From there, the subsidiary will serve customers throughout Germany.

Jochen Eichert, managing director of IAR Deutschland, says: “We are in the process of building a team of professionals in the areas of sales and service engineering.

“Motivated professionals who know automation and want to support us in our market expansion are welcome to contact me.”

Sébastien Perroud and Jochen Eichert are convinced that demand for automation solutions in Germany will continue to rise. The main reasons for this are a relocation of production back to Germany, the ongoing shortage of qualified specialists, and high production costs.

Perroud says: “Our automation solutions and our expertise in industrial automation make a decisive contribution to overcoming these challenges: Production capacities can be increased, employees can be freed up for higher-value work, and unit costs can be reduced.”
