Tesla releases stunning videos showing car production facility

Tesla, the electric car maker, has released a number of visually stunning videos showing its car production line in Berlin, Germany.

The facility is Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg and some of the robots used include its so-called “Godzilla” robot and “Giga Berlin”.

Tesla has made a number of videos available to view on Twitter, and most of them seem to use drone footage quite liberally, making for some amazing shots travelling through the factory.

The factory was planned to produce batteries, battery packs and powertrains for use in Tesla vehicles, and also assemble the Tesla Model Y.

And while Tesla is looking into a variety new markets, it is most famous for, and its main product, is still the high-performance electric cars it produces.

According to figures on Teslas website, the company produced over 439,000 vehicles and delivered over 405,000 vehicles in the fourth quarter of last year.

In 2022, vehicle deliveries grew 40 percent year-on-year to 1.31 million while production grew 47 percent YoY to 1.37 million.

The company says it has continued to “transition towards a more even regional mix of vehicle builds which again led to a further increase in cars in transit at the end of the quarter”.
