Geek+ RoboShuttle C200M achieves ETL certification to UL 3100 standard

Geek+ RoboShuttle C200M has obtained the ETL certification, “setting a new industry milestone as the first ETL certified Bin-to-Person solution to meet the UL3100 standard”, according to the company.

ETL stands for Electrical Testing Laboratories. This is the testing and certification division of Intertek Testing Laboratories, which is based in the UK.

The certification confirms the innovative strength of Geek+’s R&D team and ability to expand globally by developing robotics products that meet the highest standards of quality.

The robot was tested by Intertek and Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) approved by the US federal agency Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Having passed the independent review and rigorous safety testing, the C200M now meets standards of mechanical safety, functional safety, electrical safety, and electromagnetic compatibility.

Equipped with an omnidirectional obstacle avoidance module for 360-degree perception capabilities, C200M can ensure safe on-site use.

The telescopic arms feature forward obstacle avoidance and position sensors to ensure the safe execution of the telescopic mechanism.

The battery has obtained both CE and UL certification.

The picking safety system is the first to obtain CE certification, with a dispatch system that enables emergency stop, speed reduction, and fire control linkage design to ensure the safety of human-robot interaction.

The motor servo drive is built on an industrial-grade modular design. Along with the two-half ground adaptive chassis, it can effectively reduce the impact of uneven ground on the operating stability and reliability.

Apart from product safety, the ETL certification also includes an assessment of supply chain, R&D, and production links, adding a new dimension to the concept of quality. With over 400 engineers invested in independent R&D, Geek+ has the resources required to ensure the quality of parts and production technology.

Internally, each product will undergo a series of reliability tests, from signal integrity tests and function and performance tests, to power integrity tests, environmental adaptability tests, electromagnetic compatibility tests, and electrical safety tests, allowing Geek+ to guarantee exceptional robotics hardware.

RoboShuttle C200M is the AMR solution with the highest single-layer storage capacity to date. With its 1.5-meter extended telescopic arms, C200M can access two containers in one go. The slim design also allows it to operate 1-meter narrow aisles and save up to 50 percent aisle space.

The storage and retrieval range of bins can be as low as 0.215 meters and up to 5 meters, making full use of the horizontal and vertical space, improving the storage capacity by 2.5 times compared to manually driven warehouses.

C200M modular doorframe can be customized to fit the height of existing shelves and features modular disassembly and assembly, facilitating transportation and lowering transportation costs. Lastly, C200M has a 1:12 charge and operating ratio for high robot utilization.

Having obtained certifications compliant with many regional laws and regulations, Geek+ C200M RoboShuttle is now available globally to several key markets in Europe, Asia, South America, North America, Australia, and other regions.
