1. ABB has launched a new robotic painting system. The company says its new PixelPaint is 50 percent faster and more sustainable, using an inkjet head to eliminate overspray.

2. Ensenso has unveiled a new robotic inspection camera. The new Ensenso 3D stereo industrial camera system “imitates human vision” to make robotic inspection cells “faster and more accurate”, says Imaging Development Systems.

3. Nvidia and SoftBank have reached a definitive agreement under which Nvidia will acquire Arm from SoftBank in a transaction valued at $40 billion.

4. Motiv Space Systems, the company whose robotic arm is on its way to Mars right this minute, is bringing its space-grade robotics to Earth-bound industry.

5. Geek+ has launched its new S100C large-size parcel sorting robot, advancing its already extensive line of intelligent sorting robots.

6. Mitsubishi Electric is selling its collaborative robots at half their normal price, according to a report on the Nikkei Asian Review website.

7. Fanuc, the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial robots, is planning to “triple current monthly production” at its main factory in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.

With Apollo Go, people in Cangzhou can hail a robotaxi ride from train stations and other public spaces.

8. Baidu has launched the Apollo Go Robotaxi service in Beijing, becoming the first company to allow people in China’s capital to use robotaxis.

9. Hexagon has launched its first autonomy positioning and sensing kits for the agriculture market and tested the solutions in its new autonomous research and development tractor.

10. Robotiq says it is making collaborative robots even more collaborative by partnering with 3D vision developer Pickit and industrial linear motion specialist Festo.
