RE2 Robotics plans expansion as it looks to increase staff by 50 per cent

RE2 Robotics, a developer of human-like robotic manipulation systems, says it will “significantly increase” its hiring efforts in 2020.

This hiring push is a direct result of the company’s expansion into commercial markets last year, including the aviation, energy and medical industries.

RE2 expects to increase its staff by 50 percent by the end 2020. The company, which increased its staff by 32 percent in 2019, is seeking to add approximately 20 engineers in a variety of disciplines, including mechanical, electrical and software engineering.

In particular, the company is seeking engineers who have experience in the fields of computer vision, trajectory planning, motion control, autonomy, and artificial intelligence.

Additionally, RE2 is looking to add several management, business, and administrative positions.

Jorgen Pedersen, president and CEO, says: “In 2020, we will continue to diversify into new markets and broaden our autonomy and artificial intelligence capabilities.

“We’re excited about our growth and are focused on finding talented engineers who are passionate about robotics and want to help us make the world a better place.”

RE2 has also expanded its benefits package for employees in 2019. The company says that, in addition to competitive salaries and numerous health benefits, it now offers all of its full-time employees a generous maternity / paternity / foster / adoption leave benefit and half-day Fridays.

Additionally, RE2 understands that its strength comes from its employees, so RE2 provides stock options to all employees and continues to share the wealthy by issuing year-end bonuses.

Pedersen says: “At RE2, we make sure that people are our number-one priority.

“We are committed to creating a positive environment that empowers our employees and provides them with the freedom to innovate through robotics.

“If you’re looking for a career in which you’ll be motivated to come to work every day, and where you’ll be valued and respected as an integral part of our team, we encourage you to apply today.”
