Hahn Group scales automation for medical device manufacturers

Hahn Group exhibited at MedTec Live in Nuremberg, Germany last month, with its Invotec, Rethink Robotics and Waldorf Technik companies.

Invotec has over 25 years of experience designing and building custom automation equipment for medical device manufacturers.

With a new facility in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, their experts were at the show highlighting the latest developments in assembly, test, and inspection equipment.

“We understand that the medical device industry faces unique challenges when it comes to automating complex, intricate processes,” says Armin Doser, CEO of Invotec GmbH.

“Invotec helps determine the right level of automation to improve production while maintaining quality and offers solutions that address those challenges.”

Invotec’s team was available at the show to discuss how advances in machine vision systems, micro laser processing, error proofing, and test systems are changing the way medical device manufacturers approach automation.

Rethink Robotics is a leader in the field of automation and robotics. With the acquisition of Rethink Robotics’ assets by the Hahn Group in October 2018, Rethink Robotics now meets German engineering.

The mission remains the same: Rethink Robotics GmbH will help manufacturers around the world automate more than ever before.

By providing the flexible and popular cobot Sawyer, manufacturers can also achieve greater productivity in the medical industry.

Waldorf Technik stands for innovation, reliability, and high precision in their automation solutions for injection molding processes.

With over 30 years of experience, Waldorf Technik excels at cycle times between 2 – 20 seconds and a high number of cavities. Their latest system, Vario TIP focuses on improving the manufacturing of pipette tips and blood reagent containers.

Together, the synergy of the HAHN Group gives medtech manufacturers complete equipment solutions from engineering and design to production, installation, and service as well as access to a global network of automation best practices and support.
