AME Industrial partners with Savoye to offer automation solutions in the US

AME Industrial, a solutions-based material handling systems integrator, and Savoye, a French-owned designer and manufacturer of automation technologies for warehousing and distribution, have agreed to a commercial partnership in the US.

AME Industrial will be representing the “Intelis” packaging machines product suite, with focus on Jivaro.

Jivaro is a system for case size optimization that reduces dim weight shipping costs for small parcels.

Savoye also offers warehouse management systems, order picking systems and automated goods-to-person systems for cases, totes, trays and pallets.

David Easterbrook, president of AME Companies, says: “eCommerce packaging is such an exciting growth market, and will continue to be for years to come.

“We’ve always had the solutions development resources, we just needed the right technology partner.

“This opportunity to represent a best in class technology suite like Savoye’s Intelis is a very exciting milestone in the growth of AME.”

Savoye, located in Dijon, France, has been in business for over 60 years as a division of the Legris Industries Group, HQ in Paris, France.

Savoye has three manufacturing facilities in Europe and over 200 employees.

By installing a hundred projects per year and more than 1,000 customers, Savoye had a turnover of €128 million in 2015.
