Epson to demonstrate newly launched T3 all-in-one SCARA robot at the Assembly Show

Epson Robots will be showcasing its newly launched T3 All-in-One SCARA robot at the manufacturing industry event The Assembly Show.

Epson says that as well as the T3, it will also showcase its “revolutionary” Flexion N2 6-Axis robot, as well as a selection of its leading 6-Axis and SCARA robots.

Additionally, Epson will lead a discussion on how to get started in robotics and automation.

Epson says the new T3 All-in-One robot comes with a built-in controller, a new technology feature that reduces space requirements and simplifies setup.

It offers a cost-effective and simple-to-integrate and install automation solution for simple applications such as pick and place, assembly, parts handling and dispensing in industries ranging from automotive and medical development, to lab automation, consumer electronics, electronic components and industrial.

It is ideal for customers looking to automate their factory without wasting time or money on complex slide-based solutions.

The G3 and G6 SCARA robots are perfect for applications that require high speed and/or high precision in industries including automotive, medical, semiconductor, food, pharmaceutical, hard drive, and consumer.

The Max-E envelope design delivers maximum motion range, allowing Epson G-Series robots to do jobs that normally require much larger arms.

The smaller footprint translates to less factory space requirements and lower overall factory costs, helping manufacturers to stay competitive.

The LS6 SCARA robot delivers a high return on investment, says Epson, with high-efficiency assembly, transfer, alignment, and placement operations, lower personnel overhead, and consistent quality.

Available in 500, 600 and 700mm arm lengths, LS6 SCARA robots are ideal replacements for manual assembly work, enabling smooth integration for parts transfer, assembly and a wide variety of other applications.

The Flexion N2 6-Axis space-saving robot features the world’s first compact folding arm design that meets the increasingly high demands for efficient movement and precise placement required in advanced manufacturing.

It’s ideal for use in production and quality assurance in the automotive, electronics, medical and laboratory equipment industries, which require compact solutions for applications that need smaller robots and workcells.

The C8 and C8XL 6-Axis robots have a high payload capacity that will allow the robots to use items such as heavier multi-head grippers and tool changers and will also enable the transport of heavy objects and the simultaneous transport of multiple workpieces.

They are ideal when used in combination with high-speed SCARA assembly robots or when used for standalone manufacturing system applications that demand high speed.

Rick Brookshire, group product manager, Epson Robots, will present The Starting Point for Robot Automation: A Beginner’s Tour, at the show.

This presentation will serve well as a starting point for those new to automation. Attendees will come away with a good understanding on how to get started with robotics in automation and the key aspects to consider.

The Assembly Show takes place from October 24-26 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

Epson will be at booth #531, and its presentation takes place on October 25 from noon until 12:40 pm in the Exhibit hall.
