DeviceLynk has released a new user experience offering a completely redesigned interface focused on improving navigation and ease of use.
The company says the new design brings a modern touch-centric concept to Industrial IoT, an industry merging the needs of Industrial Automation with the technology of the Internet of Things.
The new DeviceLynk user experience expands upon the situational awareness techniques of using limited amounts of color to increase user’s awareness of alerts and alarms.
Conceived as a complete equipment to user Industrial IoT solution, DeviceLynk brings increased situational awareness to the status of remote assets in Water, District Energy, Oil & Gas, Environmental applications and more – anytime, anywhere.
“Based on the data being brought into our dashboard, I already see items that should be addressed in the Building Automation System,” says Lori Parker, operations manager on behalf of Creative Energy. “We have notified the engineer, because our equipment does not seem to be under proper control or something is misconfigured. I have to say DeviceLynk’s tag line ‘Actionable Intelligence’ is quite accurate.”
Elements of the new user experience include increased dashboard screen space, new collapsible menu structure, improved asset data configuration workflow and a new gadget selection wizard. The update advances the vision of DeviceLynk by expanding the awareness capabilities for remote assets within industrial environments.
