According to progressiveautomations.com, which is a website that explains more about actuators, it is evident that there are several ways that actuators improve weld quality and reduce costs.

An actuator is a type of motor that is responsible for moving and controlling a mechanism or system. It is operated by a source of energy – typically, electric current, hydraulic fluid pressure, or pneumatic pressure – and converts that energy into motion.

Electric resistance welding actuators when welding opens their tips just enough to move to the next position which results in time-saving, so more welding is done using the same amount of energy, saving time and reducing costs and producing high quality.  [Read more…] about Actuators to improve weld quality and reduce costs

Mainiway has demonstrated an industrial internet of things platform aimed at the manufacturing sector which will enable consumers to customise what is manufactured.

The company showcased its service at Hannover Messe 2016. The consumer to manfacturing (C2M) platform was taken through the process of customizing a gift.

The audience booked a gift on a tablet and logged in a customized E-commerce interface. After the order was complete, the audience was able to trace the whole process under backend big data center precisely – accepting direction, analyzing optimal manufacturing route, estimating timeline, choosing materials and arranging intelligent scheduling.  [Read more…] about Mainiway showcases IoT platform for highly customizable manufacturing
