ThyssenKrupp says it has reached a “milestone” for the digital transformation of industry and connecting the machinery of its materials services division through a new digital platform.

Commercial vehicles ‘on the road to digital transformation’

Lorries and other commercial vehicles are on the way toward “digital transformation”, according to the organisers of the IAA event.

Now in its 66th year, the IAA Commercial Vehicles exhibition is regarded as one of the the most important trade fairs for mobility, transport and logistics.

Large Kuka shareholder Voith sells stake to Midea

One of Kuka’s biggest shareholders has sold its stake in the robot-maker ahead of a possible takeover by Midea, the Chinese manufacturer of household appliances. 

Midea has offered to buy the whole of Kuka for $5 billion, and already owns a significant share in the German company.
