Mobile Industrial Robots opens new office in Germany

September 23, 2019 by David Edwards

Mobile Industrial Robots, a supplier of warehouse automation technologies, has opened a new office in Frankfurt, Germany.

The company says Germany and the Benelux countries are “very important markets with a huge potential for MiR”, so the opening of its Frankfurt office today is also important.

Distributors from the DACH region – Germany, Austria and Switzerland – came to celebrate opening of MiR’s Frankfurt office.

At the opening, MiR CEO Thomas Visti gave a presentation, and Nicolai Kuhlmann, from Phoenix Contact Electronics, presented how they have successfully implemented MiR robots in cooperation with our distributor Noll.

The office opening is an important step for MiR and for its presence in DACH and Benelux, where the company is “investing massively”.

The office in Frankfurt includes a showroom, designed to showcase MiR’s range of mobile robots and various applications, and this will be used for customer visits, technical trainings and more.

As part of MiR’s efforts to take advantage of the potential in the DACH and Benelux market, the company has recently hired Jörg Faber as sales director for DACH and Benelux.
