JMP Solutions earns new control system integration certification

JMP Solutions, industrial technology partner to Fortune 1000 companies, has earned CSIA Certified status in the Control System Integrators Association “Best Practices and Benchmarks” certification program.

This marks the 13th year JMP has held this coveted certification with CSIA, after receiving its initial certification in 2006. JMP is one of only 83 companies in the world that is CSIA certified.

JMP Solutions earned the certification following a successful audit administered by an independent consulting firm that assessed its performance against client-centric criteria in a wide range of business, project management, and system development categories.

These categories include:

  • general management;
  • human resources management;
  • financial management;
  • system development lifecycle;
  • project management;
  • quality assurance management;
  • supporting activities;
  • marketing;
  • business development; and
  • sales management.

José Rivera, CEO at CSIA, says: “CSIA Certification is the gold-seal mark of a professionally managed control system integration business.

“Certification reassures clients that an integrator is an established professional services firm that wants to develop a successful, long-term partnership with clients.”

Laurens VanPagee, vice president of engineering for JMP Solutions, says: “CSIA is the premier benchmarking organization in the control system integration industry.

“Recognition as CSIA Certified is a testament to our commitment to CSIA’s value proposition of ensuring that industries everywhere have access to low-risk, safe and successful applications of automation technology.”

This CSIA Certification, coupled with being RIA (Robotic Industries Association) Certified and holding Rockwell Automation Solution Partner status with four technical disciplines, sets JMP Solutions apart as being “the only company in the world with these three unique and complementary classifications”, according to the company.

VanPagee says: “For our customers, this certification means that they can be assured that JMP will have a greater degree of project success, lower project risk through project execution cadence, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope.

“This audit process simply makes JMP a better company because we are benchmarked against the best of the best control system integrators.”
