Comau signs new partners in the US as it showcases its industrial robots in China

Comau is continuing on with its ambitious growth plan with the signing of two new partnership agreements in the US, and with the presentation of its industrial robotics and automation solutions at the World Robot Conference in China. 

In California, Comau signed a partnership agreement with Valencia, California-based distributor Pacific Technical Products.

Since 1985, PTP has been a provider of industrial automation products and services, and specializes in industrial automation solutions. 

With an extensive line of control, motion and networking products, PTP allows for an integrated automation solution.

They provide software programming and control system design, as well as several other engineering services.

PTP will offer Comau’s full robotics and automation systems catalog to their customer base in Southern California.

Additionally, Comau signed a partnership agreement with Indiana-based IFP Automation – a supplier of technical systems and components since 1976.

Specializing in the design, engineering integration and supply of fluid power motion control and electrical automation products, IFP Automation is an industrial technology supplier to industrial OEMs, mobile OEMs and end user customers.

They also offer flexible engineering support to fit their customers’ needs.

IFP Automation will also offer Comau’s full catalog of robots and automation products to their Midwestern USA customer base.

At the WRC event in China, Comau took part in the Special Forum on Technological Innovation in Industrial Robots.

The forum included experts on industrial robots and leadership from leading robot companies.

They discussed the new trend of innovation in robot development and the significant influence the revolution of robots has on social development.

Tony Tang Xin, head of Comau China’s robotics and automation products business unit, presented the company’s innovation pillars and its own way to the digitalization of manufacturing processes, which Comau calls “Humanufacturing”.
