1 Kollmorgen KDN Easy to use - mobile and desktop

Kollmorgen updates its developer network software

Kollmorgen says it has updated its developer network, added more functions and made it easier to use on mobile and desktop computer.

“It’s so much easier when you work as a team,” say the company in a statement. “This is why Kollmorgen has thoroughly revised and expanded the web-based customer community KDN – Kollmorgen Developer Network.”

The new version of the online knowledge base is really easy to use on all PCs, tablets, and smartphones – thanks to its responsive design, says the company.

Kollmorgen has also expanded – in a targeted manner – the range of functions and products offered by KDN, which was established in 2014.

Mark Duckwitz, manager of technical communications at Kollmorgen, says: “We systematically analyzed both our own experience and user behavior for this purpose and fed this into the new release.”

The Kollmorgen Developer Network mainly covers AKD and AKD-N servo drives, as well as PCMM and AKD PDMM Motion Control solutions and the complete Kollmorgen Automation Suite (KAS).

In addition, the web-based knowledge platform offers downloads, detailed knowledge and practical tips relating to servo motors and direct drives.

There are up-to-date reports, efficient filter functions, and fast navigation options as well.

KDN’s Community also allows users to ask individual questions, comment on conversations, and vote on good answers.

With this, KDN provides opportunities to collaborate on projects more closely within the network.
