Business-to-business publisher WTWH Media has bought The Robot Report for an undisclosed sum.

TheRobotReport.com was founded in 2008 by Frank Tobe, and is one of the leading websites in this growing sector of publishing.

The website covers robotics in a variety of business segments, including transportation, agriculture, manufacturing and even outer space.  It has an international perspective, covering many countries around the globe.

Scott McCafferty, co-founder and managing partner of WTWH Media, says: “The Robot Report along with Mr Tobe’s guidance provides a platform to build out an integrated media solution in the robotics market.

“We will continue to invest in resources to expand audience reach and develop new marketing offerings in the robotics space.”

WTWH Media editorial director Paul Heney says: “Robotics is an increasingly important part of our economy.

“The changes in our world, from the manufacturing space to consumer applications, will be stunning over the next decade.

“This acquisition meshes nicely with our existing technical coverage of the industrial robotics world, and gives us an opportunity to reach an even bigger audience with this critical information.”
